Music:
I consistently have the Elvis Costello catalog in rotation, and have been a huge fan for decades. Most recently spinning his new "Spectacular...Songbook" disc. Kasabian ("Velociraptor!" album), Japandroids (new single), Girl in a Coma - "Exits & All the Rest"—a phenomenal record from first to last track. Opposite Sex – cool new/semi-experimental indie band out of NZ—recommended, Colleen Green "Cujo" EP—catchy stoner-pop-punk from the DIY fringe—which I dig, Chuck Prophet's latest "Temple Beautiful" w/ tracks reminiscent of the early Stiff Records vibe set in a modern age, The New Pornographers, Jay Reatard - taken too soon but not to be forgotten, Terry Malts "Killing Time" sounds like Jesus and Mary Chain meets the Smiths, Beat Frauleins (German Girl pop '64-'68), and the latest from Klaus Beyer "Das Weisse Album” (German outsider covers of the entire 2-disc Beatles White Album). Look for “Klaus Beyer covers Osaka Popstar”—in German—on “Die Shaolin Affen EP” coming this summer on vinyl and digital download…seriously.

Books:
"Commando: The Autobiography of Johnny Ramone" - #1 on my bestseller list! Despite my obvious bias, (I edited the book, and contributed an afterword), I cannot recommend it enough. This book is a must read for any Ramones fan. A brutally honest, funny, multi-dimensional portrayal of a true legend, and an invaluable handbook for anyone that ever endeavored to start a band.

“Garbage Pail Kids” w/ Intro by Art Spiegelman & afterword by John Pound. The classic 80's gross out stickers reprinted in oversized art book detail, packaged in a vintage wax wrapper slipcover.

“My Friend Dahmer” - graphic novel/comic book, in hardcover format. Written by a high school friend of Jeffery Dahmer. Endorsed by R. Crumb!

DVD/Bluray:
"Fix: The Ministry Movie", "Blank City" (new doc on the 70’s/80’s NY underground film scene), "From Straight to Bizarre: Zappa, Beefheart & LA's Lunatic Fringe", Looney Tunes Platinum Collection: Vol. 1 (bonus features include an insightful and highly entertaining commentary by Ren & Stimpy creator John K for Bob Clampett’s classic surrealistic animated short “The Great Piggy Bank Robbery”)

Toys:
Presidential Monsters by Heroes in Action, Fat Tony by Ron English, Gumdrop by 64 Colors, Foster by Super 7, Johnny & Dee Dee Ramone POP! Vinyl figures by Funko (Misfits and Sex Pistols coming soon...), Star Wars 12-inch retro Kenner figures by Gentle Giant, "Karen Cooper" Night of the Living Dead Mego-style figure by EMCE, Return of the Living Dead “Tarman” action figure, and “Zacherley: the Cool Ghoul” collector's figure by Amok Time.

Check it Out! with Dr. Steve Brule, Portlandia, 30 Rock, Parks and Rec, SNL, Storage Wars—and The Celebrity Apprentice—while eagerly awaiting the return of The Walking Dead and Dexter…
